Brian Costello

Brian Costello is the founder of National Institute of Financial Studies. Brian has spent many years working and teaching in the financial industries. As a former airline pilot, both domestic and international, Brian served as a branch secretary of the Australian Federation of Air Pilots and secretary of the Papua New Guinea Air Pilots Association.

This environment was one free of commercial bias and in this capacity Brian disseminated impartial financial guidance to these groups. This attitude has carried over into his current work where he teaches his many years of knowledge for the benefit of the community rather than commercial gain. Brian is the author of “First Class Ticket”, “The Sensible Guide to Wealth Creation”, the best seller “How to Start with No Savings and Get Rich… Safely”, the co-author of the “Trading Australian Futures” and creator of “Share Magic”. He is also the founder of the Hudson Institute and the Australian College of Trading. Furthermore, Brian also holds a Diploma of Technical Analysis and addresses the Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA) periodically.

Brian is a member of the Boards of Qantas Founders Memorial and General Practice Australia. He holds the endorsement of the Medical Faculty of the University of New South Wales as presenter of matters financial.

In addition to being one of Australia’s most sought after presenters, Brian is also recognised as a brilliant teacher and communicator. Brian presents over 150 seminars a year and has made many appearances on radio, television and in the print media.

Regardless of high public profile Brian is very approachable. His empathy with individuals and disadvantaged groups is responsible for his nomination for the Advance Australia Awards.
