BOB EATHER

Bob Eather and his wife June live near Taroom in South West Queensland where they run a cattle fattening and backgrounding operation.

Both Bob and June enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren and take pleasure empowering people in the bush.

“I first met Brian Costello and the NIFS Team at a seminar which helped farmers identify opportunities to diversify into off-farm investment and help reduce the risk of drought and cattle prices".

"I was struck by Brian’s passion for helping others and his message that we must control our own assets".

“Since implementing these strategies and with the assistance of Entello (NIFS sister company), I feel in control of my financial future in terms of investment growth and hedging our production”.

“Our entire family, including my parents, have attended the Strategies for Financial Advancement Workshop. All have taken a significant step in the right direction to create an independent financial future”.

Bob has a passion for sharing this knowledge with people in the bush, particularly young farmers who struggle to see a positive future on the land.

“Small investments, done at the right time, have the power to fund education. This can be a very stressful time trying to fund boarding school fees out of a property in drought”.

“I would dearly like to pass this information onto other and to watch them achieve what they otherwise believe to be impossible”.
